The University of Arizona Perfusion Sciences Graduate Program

This is a 24-month graduate program. You will be conferred a Master of Science degree in Medical Pharmacology-Perfusion Sciences. We have a unique and well-established program. This program is based on the triad of (1) challenging didactic courses, (2) clinical one-on-one instruction, and (3) research (broad spectrum of topics available). We have a very strong basic science research program that has been very beneficial to our students, enhancing their understanding of cardiovascular disease and extra-corporeal support, including mechanical circulatory support systems. These aspects of the program are unique and comprehensively prepare the student for future job markets in open-heart surgery and cardiovascular support.
