Effective October 18, 2026
Learn from IPA resources and share links to them. Please do not republish, distribute, sell, or upload our proprietary content elsewhere without written permission.
1. Your agreement
These Terms of Use govern your IPA account and access to International Perfusion Association resources at iperfusion.org. When you create an account using a registration control accompanied by a notice linking to these Terms, you agree to them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle personal information.
2. Personal learning and permitted use
You may access IPA resources for your own learning and professional reference. Where we expressly offer a download or print option, you may keep a personal copy for that purpose, subject to any stated license. Keep copyright and attribution notices intact. You are welcome to share links to our public pages.
3. Protecting educational content
IPA and its contributors or licensors retain their respective rights in original materials, including textbooks, manuals, study guides, practice questions, answer explanations, illustrations, videos, course materials, and member-only resources.
Except as permitted by applicable law or an express license, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, translate, adapt, or upload these materials to another website, shared drive, course, app, or other service without prior written permission from the relevant rights holder. This includes sharing question banks, answer keys, or substantial screenshots. Account access does not grant a redistribution or commercial-use license.
Do not scrape or bulk-download protected materials, bypass access restrictions, or use proprietary IPA content to train or build AI systems or competing content collections without written permission. Ordinary personal study and expressly authorized downloads remain permitted.
4. Other rights and sources
These Terms do not claim ownership of medical facts, ideas, public-domain material, or third-party content. Third-party materials remain subject to their owners’ terms and licenses. Nothing here removes rights available under applicable law, including fair use or other statutory exceptions.
5. Your account
Provide accurate registration information, keep your login credentials private, and do not share an account or help others bypass member access controls. Do not misuse the website, disrupt its operation, or upload unlawful material or identifiable patient information. Contact us if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
6. Educational purpose
IPA resources support education and professional development. They do not replace clinical judgment, patient-specific advice, current prescribing information, or applicable professional requirements. Practice questions are educational and do not guarantee examination results or certification. Content may contain errors or become outdated; verify information before clinical use.
7. Access and updates
We may restrict or suspend access for misuse or violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law. We may update these Terms and will identify the effective date. Material changes will be brought to members’ attention before they apply, with renewed agreement requested where required. Changes do not apply retroactively.
8. Permission and questions
To request permission to reuse material or ask about these Terms, email [email protected]. Please identify the material and your intended use.
